400?

GPP51015~300-Posters As with all films that make a big hit, and a big profit to follow, the studios want to make a sequel to the 2007 hit film "300". Could we be looking at a trilogy? After all the history of the Spartans carries on to include several other stories. If they were to make another film, several questions are to be asked. Firstly, will the profit be as great? Secondly, will it be a film people want to watch over and over again? Thirdly and finally, will there be another damned "Meet The Spartans" / "Epic Movie" style film?! For the love of god, I hate those.

Anyway, you can be assured that Frank Miller would be asked back for the second film, or it would undoubtedly suffer horribly. The sequel could chronologically move forward to either the Battle of Platea (pictured briefly at the end of the film) where the Spartans, at full force, crushed the Persians. The Spartans also played a large role in the Peloponnesian War and even went against, and defeated Athens, on land and at sea.

Heath Ledger found dead...

160735oh7 Actor Heath Ledger, best known for his groundbreaking role as Ennis in "Brokeback Mountain" was found dead at 8.35pm (UK GMT), today (22nd of January 2008), by his housekeeper, in his bed.

The 28-year-old actor has a two year old daughter with former fiancee Michelle Williams -- they separated in September, 2007. He plays The Joker in the upcoming Batman film, "The Dark Knight."

According to NYPD a masseuse arrived at Ledger's apartment and was let in by a housekeeper. When Ledger didn't answer his bedroom door, the housekeeper and the masseuse opened it and found him unconscious. They attempted to wake him; when they couldn't, they called 911.

We're told when paramedics responded, the actor was in full cardiac arrest. They attempted to perform CPR on him, but were unsuccessful. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The source of his heart attack is thought to be an overdose on Pills.

Sascha and Tash from Ents25 wish condolences to his fiancee and 2 year old daughter.

It would seem that the new Batman movie he starred in, "The Dark Knight" was completed and is in Post-Production. I'm sure they will dedicate the film to him. This story will be covered on the next Ents25 episode in 2 weeks time.
